Competitions to Watch

Joker Live Stream's wide variety of competitions allows you to quickly and comfortably switch between the events you want to watch. When it comes to basketball, obviously, the most popular league worldwide is the NBA. But many other competitions deserve your attention.

Our site gives you instant access to every popular basketball event. We've got streams for the NBA, ACB, The Euro League, BSL, and many others. But what are the must-watch competitions? More on that below.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is the most famous basketball league in the world. Every year, millions of fans in the US alone watch the fierce fight between 30 teams, who compete against each other for the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy.

But the NBA is much more than just an American basketball league. It's the whole franchise with annual global revenue of 8.76 billion dollars (2019). The NBA is considered the essence of the sport, and it's welcomed the best players throughout its history.

Amongst the most famous names are LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, or the great Michael Jordan.

The Liga ACB, also known as Liga Endesa, is the Spanish basketball league, which at the same time, is probably the best basketball national league in Europe. Eighteen teams compete for the championship, whereas two last face the relegation to the lower division called LEB Oro.

The most decorated club in Barcelona with 15 titles, followed closely by Real Madrid, won the competition 13 times. The list of most famous players of all time includes such names as Albert Herreros, Brian Jackson, Felipe Reyes, or Jordi Villacampa.

The EuroLeague

The EuroLeague is the most famous basketball competition in the Old Continent. Like football's Champions League, the tournament is played by the best teams of particular European leagues. Every year, it attracts millions of viewers and has the highest average indoor sports attendance outside the USA.

The unquestionable kings of the competition are Real Madrid. The Spanish team has lifted the trophy ten times, whereas the second on the list, CSKA Moscow, has eight titles. The EuroLeague is the closest thing to the NBA in terms of competition's level.

NBA Facts and Stats

The NBA is not just the basketball league. It is basketball. Without the American competition, the sport would've never gained the number of die-hard fans it has now. In fact, the NBA is the third richest professional sports league after the NFL and NBL, and each game attracts millions of viewers worldwide.

Currently, the NBA consists of 30 teams. Twenty-nine from the USA and one from Canada. They're divided into two conferences - Eastern and Western, which are split into three separate divisions.

The regular season usually starts in October, during which each team plays 82 games. The regular season ends in April, and the top eight teams of each conference face each other in the playoffs. On the contrary to the regular season, NBA playoffs are held in a tournament fashion.

The season culminates in June, with the Conference winners facing each other in a best-of-seven series.
